welcome to my perfect life

I love the rain. not the misty drizzle-type rain, but the thundering, gushing, fierce rain that leaves everything soaking wet and gives everything a thorough cleaning. That's why i like the rain, because it feels like it can clean anything. right now its washing away the sand and the dirt from our window-panes and our front steps and its cleaning out the despair and worry in my heart. I wish that everytime they made me feel worthless, like nothing and ashamed to be who I am, that it would rain and rain until any memories were washed away.

[i wish everything could be clean again]

and for you

Dear followers: go check out my board on pinterest to see vaguely what the wedding looks like in my head.

for him

Take my hand, I'll teach you to dance
I'll spin you around, won't let you fall down
Would you let me lead, you can step on my feet
Give it a try, it will be alright.

The room's hush, hush
And now's our moment
Take it in, feel it all and hold it
Eyes on you, eyes on me
We're doing this right.

Cause lovers dance, when they're feeling in love
Spotlight shining, its all about us
It's all about us.
And every heart in the room will melt,
This feeling I've never felt but,
It's all about us

beautiful things

happy sunday. Another dreamy un-productive day. [I watched the latest pirates of the caribbean last night and my goodness that syrena mermaid is beautiful- here she is, minus the fish tail]

I have begun reading Forsters' A Passage to India and I found this beautiful quote [you should take the time to read and marvel in it]

"The sky too has its changes, but they are less marked than those of the vegitation and the river. Clouds map it up at times, but it is normally a dome of blending tints, and the main tint blue. By day the blue will pale down into white where it touches the white of the land, after sunset it has a new circumference-orange, melting upwards into tenderest purple. But that core of the blue persists, and so it is by night. Then the stars hang like lamps from the immense vault. The distance between the earth and them is as nothing to the distance behind them; and that further distance, though beyond colour, last freed itself from blue."

lunch time inspiration

[another lunch problem] because V and I had such a lovely late breakfast-lunch now that its time for lunch-lunch im not sure what I want [although... the problem may have been solved due to those toasted sandwiches looking so darn good]

V gave me the raddest idea ever, that I should update you guys with wedding planning and so it will be done.
peace out

saturday morning post

A quick saturday post before I go out to the market [yayay!] If any of you are thinking of having children dont let them invite their friends over for sleepovers when they're old enough to have them. And if you do let them sleep over dont give them sugar, at all. And if you do give them sugar don't give them cellphones with which they can prank call their oldest sister at 2am. just a thought. These lyrics have been playing over and over in my head for the past week [im sure ive posted them before];

When the sun found the moon
She was drinking tea in a garden
Under the green umbrella trees
In the middle of summer

When the moon found the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
But her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer
