tuesday
" that such letters, so full of affection and confidence, could have been so answered, Elinor, for Willoughbys sake, would have been unwilling to believe. But her condemnation of him did not blind her to the impropriety of their having been written at all; and she was silently grieving over the imprudence which had hazarded such unsolicited proofs of tenderness, not warrented by anything preceding, and most severely condemned by the event, when Marianne, perceiving that she had finished the letters, observed to her that they contained nothing but what anyone would have written in the same situation."Monday, October 12, 2009

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.
The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.
When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.

the science of light
sometimes, on the cloudless blue dayswhen the sun has baked the
newly spring air,
and the naked branches hang
delicately adorned with
green life,
sometimes, you can hear
the golden sunlight and a perfect
stillness
and the air, that smells of mint
and jasmine
leaves you feeling intoxicated.
On those days, your mind
(supposed to be learning quanta)
would much rather dance in the
sunbeams,
than soak up the knowledge printed on a
lifeless page.
