not blogging about him

I've refrained from blogging because everything I want to say is about him-and that would be boring for you to read right?- (continues anyway) he left everything here, his car, his clothes, his guitar. Sometimes I forget that he's gone and come home thinking that he's waiting for me inside. Those are sad days. [When you spend everyday with someone, its hard to know how to function properly when they're gone.]

It's 3 days (i counted that on my fingers) 'till camp. I want to be excited about it but i'm too worried to look forward to a week away from home. I am, however, looking forward to seeing people I haven't seen in forever-people I love. Everything has been a bit mixed up lately, there have been too many strong emotions in my brain and now i think its a bit tired.

[today-one year]today is special because we've been going out for 10months. this is an achievement for me (everyday is an achievement for me)

2days ago I finished the inheritance series. I'm not sure if i can recommend it-some parts were good, but mostly it just reminded me of lord of the rings and how much better lord of the rings is. (can you wish some lovely weather on capetown?)

burgers and a boyfriend

I'm coming to the last of my green jelly, and all I want now is real food. or nutella.
[I found some of my food pictures. I can hardly keep going down the green-jelly road when I look at these]

what the heck? How is this a food picture? [its lovely to look at all the same]

ohgosh. the weather outside is wonderful. I just want to be at the beach- in the sun. not inside under my blanket with a headache. [the weekend is almost upon us!! something to make me happier]
peace out x

cinderella

For with each dawn, she found new hope that someday, her dreams of happiness would come true." -Cinderella

happy tuesday. ordinarily i love tuesdays and today was good. yes, it was. However this insane capetown wind (which blows even though its sunny outside) becomes a bit much after four days.

[my dad is home from north africa]so im sorry ive failed at blogging these past few days. its been a little hectic here. too hectic for my liking. i just want to crawl into bed and sleep for a few days - or until the bags under my eyes have disappeared.

tuesdays child is full of grace

goodmorning children. If you were born on a tuesday then you supposedly have grace. I was born on a monday, which obviously makes me an exception to this little poem/rhyme thing.
[the biggest cupcake picture i could find. it looks amazing but there is no way ill be baking today- im still trying to finish my christmas biscuits]

it was happy and sunny when i woke up, and it still is, but now the wind is blowing so hard i can't go outside for fear of being blown over.

Im re-reading Harry Potter. War&Peace was a bit too heavy for me while suntanning. ilove Harry Potter, id forgotten just how much i enjoyed reading them.
[a pretty serious craving for this at the moment]

death

thursday! Today I had a ministry training conference all day and our speakers were amazing because well, they just were and they were all from england* yay england.so i thought that amongst my favourite pictures from this past week id put some "death" quotes up, its just important to think about it :)

Oh, may I join the choir invisible
Of those immortal dead who live again.
~George Eliot, The Choir Invisible

For death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity. ~William Penn

And they die an equal death - the idler and the man of mighty deeds. ~Homer, Iliad

There's nothing certain in a man's life except this: That he must lose it. ~Aeschylus, Agamemnon

The day which we fear as our last is but the birthday of eternity. ~Seneca
