The perfect clothing

Gosh I never ever post about anything remotely concerning fashion BUT when I saw this collection I knew that I just had to share it with the world (my very small world of blog-followers). So here it is, the new Free People lookbook collection called 'Like a rolling stone'

It's beautiful and colorful and makes me want to buy all the clothes and then go live in a wood cabin and be a gypsy (or at least look like one). It also- weirdly enough- makes me want a llama.

The best thing to have for breakfast in Autumn? Home made porridge with honey.

An Autumn Evening:
Dark hills against a hollow crocus sky

When else would it be acceptable to wear something like this? all the brown clothes in my closet lie in wait for this season.

[a side note: the confusing thing about Autumn in Cape Town is that we sometimes get very hot days, with hot winds, an experienced Capetonian would understand that this means cold weather is on its way. yesterday was like that, hot and windy, and I felt like the princess in 'Prince of Persia'. today its raining]

If youre reading this at 3:30pm you'll be glad to know that monday is almost over.

(cue moaning)I feel as if I haven't had a weekend for the past two weeks and despite the happiness I felt that March has arrived the weather hasn't obligingly cooled down enough for me to wear my new ankle boots-what the heck is going on here? Everything may be compounded by the fact that I have way too much work and am frequently having to wake up at 4am to just get through the next day. [despite the moaning she really does feel very happy at the moment]

its 10days until G leaves for durban again [she puts on her nervous face]I hate him leaving but I love knowing that he's going to come back-and usually that feeling is bigger than the sadness- On saturday we had my sisters 18th birthday at our house (we're still finding glitter everywhere) and as a result we have a surplus of leftover food. this actually just means that i'm going to get fat.er.

happy monday. thursday? then. its the weekend tomorrow? yesplease. [tomorrow is when i get to bake cupcakes and then have maryjane over for tea. *can you see my excited face?]

I've been so wonderfully lazy this week. Last night G&i [and other lovely people] went to watch a band at &union in town, and even though we got rained on and the beer was ridiculously expensive it was pretty awesome.

in other news, I finally finished Emma* and im now reading L'abri and then on to Tender is the night or another thomas hardy.... hmmm. tonight my family and I went to watch The Other Guys, its lame dont see it. On the plus side I had the most amazing cookies and cream milkshake I have ever had [truelove]

Today was considerably better than yesterday. infact, the day i get sent to prison will be a better day than yesterday was. However, I managed to finish a book* [the girl with the dragon tattoo] which turned out to be really good. and really thats all i have to report.
Right now im dreaming of; the chocolate C brought me from her overseas adventures, hotchocolate, seeing my bestfriend and my princess bed. Ah and my late sleeping tomorrow morning. yes please.
