I will be back in action to tell you all about my delightful travels soon
In the meantime enjoy spring (or if you're in Durban, the rain)

Crumpets are generally eaten hot with butter, with or without a second (sweet or savoury) topping. Sometimes, second toppings are added such as honey, poached egg, jam, Marmite, salt, marmalade, peanut butter, cheese, golden syrup, hummus, lemon curd, maple syrup, and Nutella. The butter may be omitted, but a phrase very commonly associated with crumpets is "dripping with butter"

After some lameness with the blogging world I am back- although I'm not in a much better mood.I begin everyday promising that it will be better than yesterday. that I will be better to him, that I wont get upset so easily, that i would be happier. But it never works [why does it never work?] and I get to the end of the day feeling sadder than i did the day before. for him i try to be straightforward, uncomplicated, not too sensitive- but i dont know how. I've never had to do this before. am i doing it right? I just want him to be happy. I just want to be happy.
and it was back to school this week. this however has had little effect on my life, ive still been reading tolstoy 'till 2am and suntanning in the garden in the afternoons. [my mom has gone nuts for iced tea and makes 2 pitchers of it every day... no one drink it so i'm not sure where it goes...]

the days have mostly just been made up of lazy sunny daydreaming times [which is a welcome change from the hellish nightmare week that was the week before]
[cupcake monday on time!i went on a cupcake making binge this weekend thankyou K and G for your ever stimulating conversation while im slaving away at mixing batter. Although to be fair, G im impressed with your cupcake-icing skills]
[distracting myself with pretty shiny things]

I spent the afternoon with the man on the beach. or, watching the beach. Which may or may not lead to me having to stay up all night to finish this assignment. If you're ever in Ethiopia you need to try wushwush tea. Its pretty darn exciting.
a definite autumn feeling in the air [hums along to yellow submarine]
time is up. farewell.
[just got home from camp. ilove camps. but they always make me feel doubly tired. and i drink way too much tea on camps]
-for the missed cupcake monday-
lady: thats quite a few girls. you've been pretty busy hey?

met new people, learnt to play pool, took hundreds of photos, tried to speak german, used a hot water bottle for the first time, missed home, loved new people, lived on tea, was nervous, was truly happy, changed peoples lives, had my life changed.
