crepes and caterpillar juice

thismorning we went out for brunch. I have problems with food markets. there is just so much food and it looks amazing and smells amazing, my senses go into overdrive - making it very difficult to actually choose something to eat. today, however, it was easy to settle with crepes

everytime i eat crepes i remember paris in autumn, walking along the rue mouffetard eating chocolate crepes [yes it does sound pathetically romantic] so today we ate crepes. and because we were at an organic food market we had fresh apple juice.ilove fresh apple juice -the layer of apple foam on top, not so much- My sister commented that it was like drinking a caterpillar [which was disgustingly accurate] and now everytime i try drinking apple juice i see this little caterpillar face.

chuck. and other good things

the weekend is upon us* but lets get real. when its holidays i feel like i'm permanently in weekend-mode. I feel like i could go to bed and sleep until forever. [butfirst]

due to my sisters obession, i have fallen rather inlove with chuck. when it first came out i thought it was lame-and now im eating my words.

"My job on my set, I believe, is to first just love people and gain that trust with people where they know that I really do love them and care about their well-being, so that when they are running into problems, they will hopefully, at some point, come to me and ask me, 'What is your peace all about? What is your comfort all about? Where do you get your love? Where do you get your talents?' And I can turn to them and say without blinking, 'Jesus Christ.'"- Zachary Levi

[dear zachary. you are amazing.]
but in my heart, and on my list of priorities at the moment, this food is pretty much owning you. sorry.

today, when i was walking around the old muizenberg village with B, i found the prettiest felt roses. [you should buy them for me]

happy weekend time :) night

tuesdays child is full of grace

goodmorning children. If you were born on a tuesday then you supposedly have grace. I was born on a monday, which obviously makes me an exception to this little poem/rhyme thing.
[the biggest cupcake picture i could find. it looks amazing but there is no way ill be baking today- im still trying to finish my christmas biscuits]

it was happy and sunny when i woke up, and it still is, but now the wind is blowing so hard i can't go outside for fear of being blown over.

Im re-reading Harry Potter. War&Peace was a bit too heavy for me while suntanning. ilove Harry Potter, id forgotten just how much i enjoyed reading them.
[a pretty serious craving for this at the moment]
