You know its christmastime when the decorations start going up. Tonight we put the christmas tree up in our ritualistic way that goes something like this; my mom breaks out the mince pies and the christmas biscuits to get everyone motivated, my dad gets the tree out and arranges it while my sisters organize the decorations, i take photos, someone puts music on and we all sing along to 'rudolph the red nosed reindeer', we dress up in the tinsel and pretend that we're princesses, my parents fight about how the lights are going to be placed on the tree, after 2 hours we finally hang the decorations, we then get bored and go off with the christmas biscuits and our duvets into the lounge to watch christmas movies until the early morning.

I've always loved, O come all ye faithful. For our school carol services we used to sing some verses of the song in latin. That was my favourite part of the carol service.
