ah the holidays* generally my favourite time of the year however i havent been able to enjoy them to their fullness as we have/are continuing to move house. i havent lived in 'suburbia' for almost 5 years so its taking a while to adjust to complaining neighbours...

so tonight i am going to a halloween inspired 21st...

but its odd, halloween in march? hm but all i wanted to do was to find an otufit like this...

because honestly in my mind halloween = vampires

but then i thought it would be easier to dress up as mafia (or female mafia anyway)

however, then i read the invite more closely, and its a hollywood halloween party.
hmmmmmmmmmm, does it mean i should dress up like one of the girls from mean girls, or like this?

because really, halloween for me is more like this:

soooooooooo, my week so far, looks... average hey. today i went to see the blindeside and it was super cute and sandra bullock is freaking amazing in it. hm, and camp is real soon (wow i sounded american when i said that) and i got 2 new pairs of shoes :) yesss. and im going to bed early for the first time in forever. so actually, my week has been pretty good*

Today, I found out my father is getting married. They have been planning for 6 months and I found out only after receiving the invitation. To make matters worse, my aunt took an online class to marry them. They will be sitting on their mules during the ceremony, and the colors are camouflage. FML

Today, my physics teacher accidentally lit me on fire. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend of five and a half years to family dinner at a restaurant. After we all had finished dessert, I got down on one knee, pulled out my great grandmother's ring and proposed. The entire restaurant was dead silent. She looked around and then slowly walked out. FML

Today, I chose a cute tank top and some shorts to wear. Later, I was shopping at Target with my dad when he pointed to a girl in the same isle and said to me, "Don't ever dress like that. It looks cute on her, but you couldn't pull it off." She was wearing shorts and a tank top. FML

wednesday* the big news

dear blog, today my parents decided that 4 break-ins in 10 days was a bit much so, we are moving. again. luckily we got to spend a grand total of 16 days in this house before we have needed to move again.
so i feel the need to cheer myself up, these are a few of the things that i have liked this week*
